Austin started his career with Equitable Advisors in January 2026 as a Financial Advisor.
After a ten-year career working in the basketball industry, including with the University of
Virginia Men’s Basketball program and the Memphis Grizzlies, he spent time with the
University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Emergency Medicine as a Financial
Specialist prior to joining Equitable Advisors. Austin holds his bachelor’s degree in
Economics from the University of Virginia, and he currently holds his Accident & Health,
Life and Variable licenses, along with his FINRA Series 7 and 66 registration.
As a Financial Advisor with Equitable Advisors, Austin works with individuals and
businesses to help make their financial goals a reality. He provides customized strategies
to help meet clients’ evolving needs, with his primary focus centering around investment
management, retirement planning, and risk management strategies. Through a holistic
planning approach, Austin strives to help both individuals and businesses achieve their
financial goals within their desired time frame. He has focused on working with young
professionals, basketball coaches and scouts, teachers, and those nearing retirement as
well as a variety of other individuals.
Austin has lived in Madison since 2020 after growing up in Appleton, WI. Outside of work,
he enjoys playing basketball, attending sporting events, traveling, and spending time with
friends and family.
